Convenient and Economic Accessibility Option

At present residential wheelchair lifts are preferred by a majority of the individuals due to the superior convenience offered. When compared to elevators, wheelchair lifts are affordable to all sections of users, even those with budget constraints. Moreover, these wheelchair lifts are much more attractive than space consuming ramps. The wheelchair lifts are provided with unique classy and compact designs that would perfectly match the settings of your home.

Superior Functionality and Safety

Residential wheelchair lifts provide utmost functionality for the user. The platforms of these lifts can accommodate wheelchairs of all dimensions. For assuring the user safe movement, these lifts are provided with safety measures such as non-slippery surface, obstruction sensors, emergency stop button, safety belts, final limit switches, constant pressure controls, safety nuts and lots more. The exceptionally sensitive obstruction sensors track the obstacles blocking the path of the lift and automatically stop the lift. Thereby the chances of damage to the equipment and injuries to the user are avoided. Residential wheelchair lift models are also designed with optional remote controls to enable easy operation, and key locks to protect the lift from unofficial users. As far as the maintenance part is concerned, residential wheelchair lifts require minimum maintenance services and are more durable too.

For Betty Potter, who lived in Godalming.

She and I talked about the Lammas lands in the week prior to she died. She wanted to leave the privately run residential home and return to reside in her own property, but she was blind and suffered from paranoia/paraphrenia. Just before I met her she had possibly been unable to care for herself. The lift had been broken for some weeks and becoming a wheelchair user, Betty had been unable to come downstairs. 1 evening she climbed out of bed and fell, breaking her femur. She died a couple of days after an operation. She was 80, if I remember. She had no family members. She told me she would have liked to have a new radio.
